Here we go. Modern Warfare 3 is here, and it's "out with the old, in with the older".
Modern Warfare 3's trip down memory lane is just starting, but if you planned on cruising down this highway and enjoying the scenic route, you might be making quite the mistake.
Instead, get set to jet down the runway, as it is all Terminal action coming to Modern Warfare 3.
Modern Warfare 3 has a Limited Time Game Mode countdown
According to the popular Call of Duty insiders CharlieIntel, Modern Warfare 3 has "countdown timers to see when the next playlist will go live," centring around LTMs.
In essence, this feature will allow fans to see what LTMs are coming up before they are set live, which could be a dead giveaway when it comes to special events.
Of course, LTMs are often the most popular game modes in Call of Duty multiplayer, offering a new and diverse way to play the standard arcade shooter.
Playlists like Shoot the Ship are usually fan favourites, and despite the suspicions that Shipment is coming in the near future, there are some more immediate modes on their way that might be just as breathtaking.
Modern Warfare 3 players find an upcoming Terminal 24/7 game mode
The first LTM up appears to be Terminal 24/7, as CharlieIntel reiterated that many players who have already gained access to Modern Warfare 3 online multiplayer early have reported as such.
This would pit players on Terminal for every match they play in the Playlist, oscillating a mosh pit of game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint.
Players have also found what appears to be an "Experimental Playlist" and "Modern Warfare II Moshpit", the latter of which would likely correlate to the returning MW2 maps.
It does seem like Sledgehammer is hot on the post-content launch though, and Terminal 24/7 will be just the start.
