You may wonder is Fortnite Crew worth? Fortnite Crew is a new monthly subscription service that gives players a variety of in-game benefits, including some real world ones too. If you need to know how much is Fortnite Crew, along what it is in general, we've got you fully covered.

What Is Fortnite Crew?

Fortnite Crew is a monthly subscription service offered to Fortnite: Battle Royale players. In exchange for $12 a month, Fortnite Crew members will receive a free Battle Pass, 1,000 V- Bucks, and a Fortnite Crew Pack. Also, Fortnite Crew subscribers will be eligible to receive three free months of Spotify Premium starting on April 22.

What Does A Fortnite Crew Subscription Give You?

For $12 a month, Fortnite Crew members receive an array of gifts - and the benefits continue to expand.

To begin, all Fortnite Crew subscribers will receive the current Battle Pass for free. In addition, a Fortnite Crew subscription will net you a clean 1,000 V-Bucks every month.

Perhaps the most alluring part of the Fortnite Crew subscription is the Fortnite Crew Pack released each month. Every month, a new Fortnite Crew Pack is created. These packs contain a brand-new skin accompanied by accessories like back blings, gliders, wraps, and loading screens.

Fortnite Crew Pack cosmetics are exclusive to Fortnite Crew subscribers. These items will never be sold or given away to non-Crew members.

Starting in December of 2020, there have been five Fortnite Crew Packs released. The feature skins include Galaxia, Green Arrow, Vi, Llambro, and Alli. These skins were all accompanied by a slew of matching cosmetics.

If that’s not enough, Fortnite Crew is ever-expanding. Epic Games recently sent out surveys asking Fortnite Crew subscribers what future offerings they’d like to see. Kicking off the advanced benefits, Fortnite Crew subscribers will also be eligible for three free months of Spotify Premium starting on April 22.

Is a Fortnite Crew Worth It?

Whether a Fortnite Crew subscription is worth it lies in the eye of the beholder. However, the current offerings do provide quite the bang for your buck.

To start, the Battle Pass alone will set a player back about $10 in V-Bucks. A $12 Fortnite Crew subscription will grant a member that season’s Battle Pass - plus all other accompanying benefits of a Fortnite Crew subscription.

Going further, Fortnite Crew subscribers also receive 1,000 V-Bucks for free every month - about $10 worth. If you’re someone that’s buying V-Bucks on a consistent basis, a Fortnite Crew subscription should be more than worth it to you.

Onto the cosmetics, The Fortnite Crew Packs offer some of the highest quality skins and accessories in the game. From a business standpoint, Epic Games wants as many Fortnite Crew subscribers as possible. To many people, the most attractive part of Fortnite Crew is the exclusive skins. So, it is in Epic Games’ best interest to save their finest skins for Fortnite Crew Packs.

Each Fortnite Crew Pack would easily cost upwards of 2,000+ V- Bucks, or $20, as a standalone bundle. These are Legendary quality skins that come with a whole set of matching accessories. Additionally, Fortnite Crew Pack skins have an aura of exclusivity around them. These skins are far rarer than something in a Battle Pass or the Item Shop. Like the Galaxy Skin or the Renegade Raider, wearing a Fortnite Crew skin will catch other players’ attention. If you like to stand out and collect cosmetics, a Fortnite Crew subscription should be a no-brainer.

Finally, Fortnite Crew’s total offerings just get better and better as time goes on. For example, the three free months of Spotify Premium that now come included with a Fortnite Crew subscription. An individual Spotify Premium membership typically costs $9.99 a month - so that’s nearly a $30 value on its own.

Based on multiple surveys sent out to Fortnite Crew subscribers, it seems as though Epic Games will continue to up the value of a Fortnite Crew subscription. Other potential additions to the Fortnite Crew subscription include monthly coupons to the Epic Games store, Crew-exclusive challenges, XP boosts, and more. It appears that Fortnite Crew will only grow as the months go on.

The Total Value Of A Fortnite Crew Subscription

Overall, the total value offered by a Fortnite Crew subscription on a monthly basis is worth far more than $12. Doing some quick math, we have the free Battle Pass ($10 value), 1,000 V-Bucks ($10 value), monthly Fortnite Crew Pack ($20+ value), and three months of Spotify Premium ($30 value). Added up, Fortnite Crew subscribers receive $70+ in total value for just $12 a month.

If you’re still on the edge, frugal players may be interested in learning how to somewhat exploit the Fortnite Crew system. It appears that signing up between the 16th and the end of a month will net you rewards from both the current month and the upcoming month. For example, players that signed up for a Fortnite Crew subscription between February 16 and February 28 received the Vi bundle and the Llambro bundle for the cost of just a one-month subscription. Keep in mind, the Fortnite Crew schedule is subject to change at any time, and this exploit may not always work.

Nevertheless, every dedicated Fortnite player should consider joining the Fortnite Crew. The total value is hard to pass up — especially if you buy items like the Battle Pass and other cosmetics regularly. The overall offerings get better every month, and you can cancel at any time if you’re not satisfied.
