AndaSeat Jungle Gaming Chair Review: Lean Back In Black

AndaSeat

When it comes to looking for a new gaming chair, there's so many things to take into consideration. Not only that, but hundreds of companies to visit, compare specs, and generally just decide what's going to look good in your gaming space.

I don't know about you, but that all sounds like a lot of effort and time. As much as I'd love to claim to be the most stylish person going, I'm an 'if it's black, I'll wear it' kind of person. And that very much goes for my gaming space.

If you're after a chair that is comfortable, looks good anywhere, and is strong enough to enable you to nap if needed, you'll want to take a look at the AndaSeat Jungle Gaming Chair. No bells, no whistles, just a bloody decent chair.

Another thing to take into consideration is that a lot of us are now working from home a lot more than we used to. If you want a chair that's good for both working and gaming, you've come to the right place. During Discord and Zoom meetings, it definitely doesn't distract. The chair almost disappears into the background, which is exactly what I wanted. But let's get into the facts...

AndaSeat Jungle Gaming Chair - Setting It Up

I'm not going to lie, setting up gaming chairs sucks. We all know this. As a relatively small person, it was more of a workout than anything to get all the pieces slotted in correctly. But none of us are going into building a chair and thinking it's going to be easy.

That being said, it definitely wasn't the worst. The instructions are clear, the pieces are all very clearly marked and identifiable, and it took around 25 minutes to complete. The dreaded 'lift the main part of the chair into the base' was pretty straight-forward too.

The chair itself has a brilliant rocking feature, which means leaning back and getting comfortable isn't a problem. It also has the fantastic addition of a lumbar support cushion, and a neck support one too. However, when you want to sit forward and really concentrate on what's going on, the chair comes into its own.

You can tell that a lot of time and effort has gone into the design of it, and I couldn't fault the support or the comfort.

AndaSeat Jungle Gaming Chair - Is It Right For Me?

So who exactly should be looking into getting this chair? Well, if you're over 5'11" then this isn't for you. AndaSeat recommends 180cm as the maximum height. In terms of rocking, there's a maximum weight of 110kg (242lbs or around 17 stone), but the loading weight will carry you comfortably if you're 150kg or less (around 23 stone).

AndaSeat Jungle Gaming Chair - What Are The Specs?

The chair comes in two designs, either all black or black/red. Personally, I went for all black, but the black/red option is equally beautiful. The choice doesn't affect the price, so it very much depends on your preference.

Design

AndaSeat claims to have sunk 10+ years into their design of chairs, citing their AD+ Design as something which 'improves the sitting health for gamers, office workers and people anytime, anywhere sitting on chairs'. They also say that the AD+ design applies the 'science of ergonomic'.

AD+ PVC Leather

I must say, the feel of the chair is very nice. AndaSeat says: "The AD+ PVC leather is used on the high-end AndaSeat chairs, offering smooth bonded PVC leather with scratch and stain resistant. The high-end quality of material was designed and made with the total comfort of humankind in mind. Not only it is easy to clean, but also much stronger to keep the shape to last. AD PVC leather does not contain any harmful amounts of elements, perfect for adults and kids."

The Ability To Lean Back

The Jungle Gaming Chair can tilt back 90~160 degrees with angle lock at many positions. It also has adjustable tilt for increasing and decreasing tension - and does this by matching the body weight of whoever is sitting in it. Clever!

Adjustable Armrests

In terms of the armrests, they can be adjusted up and down to the exact angle you need. Plus, the PU covered surface provides firm support.

AndaSeat Jungle Gaming Chair - Conclusion

All in all, this chair is a solid 7/10. It's affordable, it will suit any room, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. If you're looking to save time on faffing about looking for the perfect chair - this one absolutely does the job.
