MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 4 is finally on the horizon and the community are beginning to speculate about what the devs have planned for the major update.

However, before all the fresh content arrives, a new balance patch has been rolled out in MW2 and Warzone 2 on May 31.

The main changes include nerfs to the Cronen Squall Battle Rifle and ISO Hemlock AR, as well as a list of bug fixes that improve the overall gameplay experience.

So, without ado, let's check all the changes introduced in MW2 and Warzone 2's May 31 patch notes.

The biggest changes in the update were the weapon nerfs, with the ISO Hemlock only receiving a slight decrease in power and a reduction in armour damage when using the 5.56 ammunition in Warzone 2.

As for the Cronen Squall, that was hit a lot harder, with the gun's damage range and headshot multiplier being reduced. Not only that, the weapon received a slight increase in recoil and a small reduction to the rate of fire in semi-auto mode.

Finally, the Cronen's maximum damage per shot against armour in Warzone 2 has been reduced.
