Everyone needs a helping hand crafting their favourite weapons in MW2 DMZ, given that the meta is slightly different than that in Warzone, and you can often lose your insured weapons. This is where the Workbench comes into play.

Added to the Season 3 patch, here's all you need to know where to find the Workbenches and what they're used for in the game.

Where can you find the Workbenches?

There's no set location for the Workbenches, but they work like Buy Stations and Strongholds in the way that there are a handful of spawn spots that change with every game.

One useful tip though is that the Workbenches always spawn next to a Buy Station, meaning that they're easy to spot and use.

If you do find yourself near a Buy Station, keep an eye out for the huge grey benches, and grab yourself a suppressor to silently take out the nearby AI.

What are Workbenches used for in MW2?

The Workbenches are a new way to sort out your contraband and become especially useful in games where you're not headed into the game with your Insured Weapon.

Serving as a place to craft weapon attachments, the Workbench is the perfect place to build your own loadout from scratch, or even edit it in-game if you need a new approach.

In exchange for a cash fee, you can add attachments to guns, or remove them, by heading to the Workbench. The crafting table works on both Insured guns and Contraband.

Whether it be throwing on a longer optic sight for your RPK, or equipping an extended mag on the Vaznev, you can equip any attachment to your gun through the Workbench, making it one hell of a useful tool station to find.
