To parry in Ghostrunner 2, you need to press L1/Right Mouse Button at the exact moment an enemy attacks. This will initiate a counter attack, and the enemy will be killed.

This is particularly useful against gunners and two-sworded enemies. In the case of gunners, a proper parry will deflect the projectiles from your sword and hit them instead. Timing is crucial here, so you will have to do this a few times to get the hang of it.

In Ghostrunner 2, combat plays a huge role in completing every level alongside the parkour. Sometimes you will have to use combat moves with parkour tricks together to survive in the unforgiving world of the game. Among the combat moves, parrying is absolutely necessary when you go against the enemies.

How to combine parry and block in Ghostrunner 2

Holding the L1/Right mouse Button will initiate a block. But you cannot block for an unlimited amount of time in Ghostrunner 2. In most cases, you can block up to 2-3 times, but this is against normal enemies.

More powerful ones, like the two-sworded enemies, will push you back when you block. That's why you should quickly attack after blocking one or two projectiles. Using a parry after blocking projectiles can also be a powerful way of taking down multiple gunner enemies.

When you master parrying in Ghostrunner 2, combat becomes much easier. It's crucial to learn this move, especially when you fight against bosses like Ahriman and Mitra, who will take up a lot of your time.

So, that's everything you need to know about parrying and blocking in Ghostrunner 2. Check out our review of the game as well as its dedicated homepage for all things related to it.
