In recent Call of Duty news, Quads were added as a game mode on the hugely successful Warzone, as part of the season three update. This added a new dynamic for players to play but left a huge calling for Duos within the fan base. All we want is to roll into Verdansk with your partner and not get outnumbered. Well, Warzone Wednesdays introduce Duos to our screens tonight, and here’s how it will work.

Hosted by KEEMSTAR live on his Twitch Channel, Warzone Wednesday’s has featured for the last three weeks and has seen stars from all of your favourite Battle Royale games, the Call of Duty League and celebrities such as Steve Aoki, congregate to fight it out to be the ultimate Warzone Player. Last week saw Ninja, JoshOG and Diegosaurs take home the $20,000 prize, and the 16 teams will have the chance to battle it out for this again, courtesy of Crypto, and a further $6,000 bitcoin giveaway to fans tuning in.

This week's Warzone Wednesdays will be played in pairs, better known as duos. Teams of four will be dropping into Verdansk, made up of two pairs, who will be battling it out in the same lobby to rack up kills, which correlate to overall points. Teams will face up against another pair in a straight knockout to see who will advance to the final 8. There they will be placed into brackets, giving them a second chance to continue in the tournament if they lose. The winners will move to the final to fight it out for the $20,000 prize.

This will be the first tournament to host duos on Warzone, with KEEMSTAR following suit to how his Fortnite Friday tournaments were played. It's worth noting that Duos is not accessible to the public, but with hope, this may open Activision’s eyes and ears to listen and see what the fanbase really want. Hopefully, teams will stay well clear of hackers and cheaters this time round too.

A full list of teams is as follows:
