Gender reveals aren't really most gamers' cups of tea. Who needs another reason to leave our setups and get together with extended family who we hardly speak to? Not us.

Instead, how about holding gender reveal parties inside games? That eliminates your annoying cousins and still allows a celebration of your baby-to-be's gender.

Well, that's the spirit of one Call of Duty fan, who has ditched the cliche balloon popping or cake carving and instead opted to hold his 'wholesome' gender reveal live in Urzikstan.

Reddit user "MokBear" posted a video on the platform, which showcased them doing a gender reveal in Warzone, where their squad attended the celebrations.

The Redditor used his loadout to equip a blue and pink weapon, lying them both down on the ground, with the colours representing the gender of their child.

They then popped a smoke grenade in front of the accompanying squad (filled with friends) and picked up the pink weapon, indicating that they were having a girl, which their teammates noticed when the smoke disappeared.

To make things even more chaotic, an enemy team pulled up on their position with airstrikes, explosives, and evil Groot skins, but it couldn't dampen the cheers of "aw, it's a girl."

After revealing the news on Reddit, the community also congratulated the parent-to-be. "Wholesome and congrats", "This is mad creative, congratulations", and "Awesome!!!!! Congratulations on the girl!" were just some of the kudos messages left on their post.

Other fans joked that the kid prodigy will have superpowered aim assist when they eventually grow up to play the game.

Still, the wholesome moment is enough to bring grown army veterans to tears and should now be the benchmark for all future gender reveals to be held against. Well, it beats accidentally setting fire to a forest in real life.
