Warzone is getting nine exclusive Perks & they look amazing
The integration of Modern Warfare 3 with Warzone is bringing some major additions to the Battle Royale in Season 1.
Alongside a whole new arsenal of weapons, enhanced movement, and the Urzikstan map, there's also a huge amount of Perk changes.
These involve players gaining access to five default Perks at all times, as well as nine Warzone-exclusive Perks to take Gunsmith customisation to an even greater level.
Warzone is getting a set of powerful exclusive perks in Season 1
As showcased by the popular Call of Duty account ModernWarzone, Warzone will be getting nine exclusive Perks for players to choose from. This will ultimately give competitors more freedom to outplay their opponents and develop new strategies to win matches.
You can check out the full list of new and returning Perks below:
- Irradiated - Move faster and take less damage while in the gas
- Tempered - Tempered allows you to refill armour plates to full with two plates instead of three
- Combat Scout - Bullets you fire briefly ping an enemy for you and your squad
- Resolute - When taking damage from gunfire, this grants a short bonus to movement speed
- Shrouded - Drop a smoke grenade when downed
- Mountaineer - Reduces fall damage
- Stalker - Increased strafe and ADS movement speed
- Escapist - Increased downed, prone, and crouch speed
- Primed - Accuracy and time to aim down sight is improved while jumping
- Faculty - Delay-triggered explosives while sprinting, warns of nearby enemy equipment, and reduces combat noise
It'll be interesting to see which of these perks become meta, with options like Resolute and Tempered looking particularly strong.
Season 1 is certainly going to be chaotic with everyone trying to figure out the best loadouts and setups, but that also means it's going to be a lot of fun.
Five Perks will be default on every Operator in Warzone
If that wasn't enough, brace yourselves, as now everyone in Warzone with have five default Perks active at all times following Season 1. This is on top of the Perks you choose for your loadout.
These default Perks will be Tac Pads, Commando Gloves, Quick Grip Gloves, Climbing Boots, and to the surprise of many, Overkill.
No need to waste a Perk slot for two primary weapons anymore as everybody will have access to them. So far, the announcement has been met with widespread praise from the community, but we'll have to wait until December 6 to see how it goes gameplay-wise.
