Weapon selection, attachments, and even Operator skins are at the forefront of every competitor's mind before they jump into a Warzone match.
However, many in the community overlook Perks and opt for the default options or whatever is popular at the moment. This is a major mistake, as Perks have the potential to completely transform your gameplay and grant you more BR victories.
To prove this, IceManIsaac has showcased an underrated Perk that will allow you to defy death and escape situations that would typically send you to the Gulag.
Irradiated is unbelievably strong & underused in Warzone
On the surface, the Irradiated Perk is solid but nothing special, as it enhances your abilities while under the effects of the circle. These include increased movement speed, the ability to equip plates, and reduced gas damage, all while outside the circle.
While occasionally good for rotations and gas outplays, most competitors wouldn't blink an eye before tossing it the wayside - but that's a major mistake. After some experimentation, IceManIsaac discovered an unbelievably strong feature that Irradiated offers.
Typically in Warzone, you're unable to equip Armour Plates while taking damage, as the impact cancels the animation. Well, this is not the case when you have the Irradiated Perk equipped.
This means while taking gunfire you can be rejuvenating shields and effectively cancelling out the damage, whereas those without the Perk would almost certainly die. As a result, Irradiated is OP for endgames, rotating out of poor positions and just defying death by sponging bullets.
IceManIsaac reveals the strongest Warzone Perk combo
For IceManIsaac, four Perks make up the "dream" package that gives you the best chance of dominating foes in Season 2 Reloaded.
These are Mountaineer for reduced fall damage, Irradiated for plating while taking damage, Quick Fix for fast health regen, and Flex to stop pesky campers from killing you with their explosives.
While the Perks above are not the typical selections, give them a go and see what you think. They may just become your new default package when you start taking names in BR.
