Devs are quick, but randy gamers are quicker. Aspyr's Tomb Raider I-III Remastered has only just landed, but in a matter of days, Lara Croft is popping out more than just her twin pistols. Yes, a topless cut of the trilogy is already out there in the wilds.

As a gaming legend in her own right, the release of any Tomb Raider game is met with plenty of fanfare. However, taking Lara's first three games and giving them a new-gen spruce-up, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is here to show Rockstar Games that this is how you make a revamped trilogy.

There's plenty that's new here in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and as well as new controls and a photo mode, there are polished graphics that have smoothed out those iconic polygonal shapes. You seem to be oddly obsessed with Lara's breasts, with some already ogling her 'modern' boobs.

Less than 24 hours after Tomb Raider I-III Remastered released, a listing for "Lara Topless Mod V.10" appeared on Nexus Mods. As the trilogy is available on console and PC, it means modders are already having their wicked way with it. How long until the T-Rex is swapped with Thomas the Tank Engine?

There are currently 660 downloads, proving that an alarming number of you are trying to get Lara to flash her pixels. Responding to the mod on the Nexus Mods forum, one gamer wrote, "It's pretty funny to think that 40+ year old men enjoy seeing Lara naked. Of course, in the name of nostalgia... 8D."

Another 'fan' wrote, "Someone needs to make a mod that would make the breasts bigger and more realistic," and a third concluded, "Childhood restored." Even 28 years later, the Tomb Raider fandom needs to go to horny jail.

As someone in the thread pointed out, the infamy of 'Nude Raider' means it was only a matter of time until Lara was going to be stripping off. For those who don't know, a myth relating to the OG Tomb Raider claimed there was a cheat code that would make Lara bare all.

While standing by her pool, the line of, "Now I'd better take off these wet clothes," only threw fuel on the fire. The devs even went as far as releasing fake codes to troll you all, but (sorry lads), the Nude Raider code doesn't exist.

Tomb Raider Co-Creator Paul Douglas discussed the Nude Raider code with The Gamer, saying, "It annoyed us because a) it didn’t exist and b) it meant we’d meet people at parties who thought we were perverts making pornographic video games for children."

Programmer Gavin Rummery Rummery added, "Our response was to add the ‘shower scene’ at the end of Tomb Raider 2 where Lara shoots the player for daring to try and spy on her undressing." After all these years, it looks like you've got your chance to ogle Lara, although we bet the devs aren't impressed.
