We've been stalking every corner of Modern Warfare 2 trailers and gameplay reveals to uncover precisely what we can expect to see for the franchise's future. However, we should have been looking in the shadows for things that we can't see.

Modern Warfare 2019 brought quite a lot of cheese, so the fans call it, to the multiplayer game and its battle royale sister Warzone. One of these smelly distorts was Roze.

Roze, an operator within the skin that became famous for being deceivingly hard to spot, was one of the most controversial pay-to-win features of the original MW reboot, and now it's back for even more terror.

Roze To Return In Modern Warfare 2

As part of the 'Shadow Company' in Modern Warfare 2019, Roze certainly lived up to her organisation's name by lurking in every shadow possible. Invisible to most, leakers have now claimed that Roze is definitely coming back to the franchise this year.

Popular leaker "TheGhostOfHope" has now backed up his earlier claim that Roze will be added to Modern Warfare 2, and subsequently Warzone 2.

The MW2019 skin arrived as a Season 5 battle pass reward, coming in at Tier 100, before many similarly darkness-engulfed variants arrived in various bundles and missions.

Will Roze Be Overpowered In Modern Warfare 2 And Warzone 2?

One glimmer of hope for those hoping not to be killed by shadows in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is that Roze's legendary skin in the "Roze Behind the Mask" bundle took away her signature blacked-out mask and revealed her with sleek hair.

It could be that Roze will arrive in Modern Warfare 2 without her signature disguise, and rather flex the don't-mess-with-me glare that she sported in her later days. Roze might not be the devilish character that she first may seem heading into Modern Warfare 2, or she could rule the game from within the shadows. Hopefully, the former.
