The Demon Glitch Has Possessed Vanguard

It's like a series of Stranger Things, where the upside-down antagonist comes back as a pack-a-punched version of the last one. The demon glitch in Call of Duty is back and more stupid than the previous version, possessing players' gameplay for the third year in a row.

The demon glitch was born in the Modern Warfare 2019 era, where it was heavily prevalent on Warzone and multiplayer.

The glitch causes weapons to spasm in appearance and splash demonic pixels all over your screen as if it was being warped by a fierce evil force. Now it's back in boss form, completely taking over your view.

Vanguard Players Possessed By Demon Glitch

Whilst playing some casual Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer, one player found that their gun had been taken over by another-worldly glitch. The usual black spasms of pixels were spread out over their weapon, rendering aiming useless.

The player was able to pierce a hole in its armour for a split send, until moving brought it back to life and lasted until their death.

The glitch was even worse when the kill-cam was brought up, where the demon completely took over the screen. 

Why Is The Demon Glitch Back?

This instance of the glitch appeared on a relatively new weapon blueprint, which arrived in Season 3 through the Godzilla vs King Kong event. However, no further reports of the glitch have surfaced with people using this gun, which indicates that it's a game glitch rather than the specific weapon in use.

Another fan believes it's just unoptimised renders, having claimed that they had the same glitch "until a few days ago when the latest Nvidia driver update came out. Never seen a game so unoptimized."

Who knows why the glitch continues to surface? Maybe it's just a twisted joke that Activision enjoys playing on us, much like those terrifying jump-scares from the Warzone Halloween event.
