In their first attempt with a full roster since the Rocket League Championship Series opened up its branches to the MENA region, Team Falcons have made history by becoming the first team outside of Europe and North America to make the top three in an RLCS international major.

The Saudi Arabia-born roster of Ahmad "Ahmad" Abdullah, Khalid "oKhaliD" Qasim, and Mohammed "trk511" Alotaibi has made the Spring Split Major Upper Bracket Grand Finals after beating SpaceStation Gaming 4-3, making this the first time in history that a 'minor' region team has made it to the top three.

The accomplishment eclipses the Season 6 record held by Chiefs Esports, who reached the top four before falling to eventual winners Cloud9.

Team Falcons have achieved this feat whilst playing together at a LAN for the first time. Previously, oKhaliD was unavailable to make the Fall Major in Stockholm due to visa issues, the same problem which also saw them miss out entirely on the Winter Split in Los Angeles despite qualifying as Sandrock Gaming.

Having now made the top three, Team Falcons face Version1 for a spot in the Grand Finals, while also having the security net of the Lower Bracket Finals.

Now dubbed as the favourites to take it all, Team Falcons could now become the first non-EU / NA team to win an international Rocket League major and assert their dominance over the entire world in their first season in RLCS.
