In the Call of Duty space, especially in the early 2010s, Syndicate was one of the biggest content creators in the entire community.

With multiple YouTube channels totalling over 10 million subscribers, he made his name through Zombies videos, especially on Black Ops 1.

One particular world record run was hugely popular for Syndicate, with the star reaching round 116 on Kino der Toten.

Now, 13 years later, the run has been called into question by Karl Jobst, who has accused Syndicate of cheating and not reaching the three-figure round legitimately.

Karl Jobst accuses Syndicate of faking Zombies World record

Jobst's first critique towards the legitimacy of Syndicate's run comes in the inconsistencies between the different videos that were uploaded. An example of this is the fact that the CoD creator's character changed from Nikolai to Takeo between two uploads. This proves the series is made up of two separate runs, as it's not possible to change your character unless you die.

Another glaring point of evidence is the fact that despite Syndicate saying that he had died twice, he then picked up a third Self-Revive without the machine disappearing. This isn't possible on a legitimate run, as you can only use three self-revives in a single match.

Then there's the Thunder Gun, one of the most powerful weapons in Black Ops 1 Zombies and extremely hard to acquire from the mystery box. However, during his runs, Syndicate always seemed to have it equipped, with Jobst suggesting he may have spawned it by using commands.

Finally, Syndicate's actual gameplay with the Thunder Gun raised a lot of eyebrows as well. The weapon itself doesn't have that much ammo when it's given to the player, so you must use the gun conservatively and wipe as many Zombies as possible with each bullet.

Instead, Tom decides to shoot single undead enemies on their own and utilise it like any other gun. This is suspicious for Jobst, who believes this is more evidence he spawned in the Thunder Gun.

To this day, Syndicate maintains that the run is real and completely legitimate. However, he has yet to respond to Jobst's video, which has already racked up over 750,000 views.
