Call of Duty's crossovers are growing more and more bizarre.

Maybe it's a symptom of Fortnite's huge spread across pop culture, but Warzone especially has strayed into deeply strange territory. Testing the waters with its Halloween crossovers starring characters from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre to Saw to Scream, and now with a full-on Attack on Titan crossover, the game seems to be steering into odd characters even more.

And now, a brand new pack is coming to the game, and it might be the most bizarre yet.

Call of Duty Confirms Snoop Dogg Coming To Warzone

In the strangest turn for Call of Duty since the launch of Vanguard, the series has now practically confirmed that legendary rapper and owner of Death Row Records Snoop Dogg will be making his arrival in the game.

In a video posted to the official Call of Duty Instagram and Twitter pages, some dog tags (or Dogg tags, hehe) drop into frame with the reveal of the man himself coming to standard Call of Duty and Call of Duty Mobile.

"Recovered these Dogg Tags in battle. Anyone know whose they are?" reads the caption. We can make a guess.

It's not particularly good timing given Snoop's ongoing sexual assault allegations, but it ties into his recent joining of FaZe Clan, making him an even bigger face in gaming.

And now, it looks like we know exactly when he'll arrive in-game.

Call Of Duty Hints At Snoop Dogg Release Date

The video itself seems to hint at the Operator's release date, as well as hinting at his general arrival. The Dogg tags have an inscription that hints at him dropping into Vanguard and Warzone on April 19, but arriving first in Call of Duty mobile on April 1. That's some April Fool's joke.

It looks like Call of Duty is on track to become completely unhinged with its crossovers by the end of Vanguard's life cycle - and to be honest, we're here for it. The madder the better.
