A TikTok creator with over a million followers across his social media platforms has been arrested on suspicion of murder after his wife and her friend died last week.

29-year-old Ali Nasser Abulaban, aka 'JinnKid', found fame after impersonating Skyrim NPCs, and went on to also copy characters such Tony 'Scarface' Montana.

Abulaban pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder following the deaths of his newly-estranged wife Ana Abulaban, 28, and her friend Rayburn Cadenas Barron, 29.

During the court hearing, Deputy District Attorney Taren Brast described the alleged events to a courtroom that contained around 'two dozen' family members, reports CBS. He is accused of downloading a 'listening app' onto his five-year-old daughter's iPad, and using this to listen in on a conversation his wife and her friend were having in an apartment in San Diego. CCTV footage shows him then entering the apartment building. Brast says that at this point, he entered the abode on the 35th floor and proceeded to shoot Barron three times, before killing his estranged wife.

He is then said to have picked his daughter up from school, and later confessed to the crimes to his mother over the phone.

However, in court he has now pleaded not guilty. The case continues, and Abulaban's daughter is being cared for by family.
