Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 trailer confirms 2024 release window, looks incredible
We'd started to get a little bit worried about Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2. The game hadn't been seen in a while, despite being intended as one of the big reasons to buy an Xbox Series X.
How wrong we were, with a fresh trailer debuting at The Game Awards. It showcased more of protagonist Senua's struggles, along with some jaw-dropping visuals.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is coming in 2024
According to the trailer, Ninja Theory's new action-adventure title will also launch in 2024. It suggests we may not have to wait as long as expected for the follow-up to Hellblade, which arrived in 2017 (has it really been that long?).
The game was originally revealed at The Game Awards in 2019. Developer Ninja Theory was acquired by Xbox in 2018, marking one of multiple acquisitions that year.
The first game, Senua's Sacrifice sits at an 81 Metascore on PS4.
