Long live the SEGA renaissance! While the company may be best known for a certain blue hedgehog and his pals, SEGA has had a big few years off the back of Persona, Yakuza, Like A Dragon, and more.

The company isn't done yet, as it revealed a whopping five new titles now in development at The Game Awards. Better yet, it includes some stone-cold classics from yesteryear.

SEGA's 'Power Surge' trailer reveals five new games in development

The fun trailer is packed with nifty easter eggs before shifting to a series of clips from reborn classics; Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, and Crazy Taxi.

Shinobi's last release was back in 2011 on the 3DS, while Jet Set's last entry arrived on the Game Boy Advance in 2003. Golden Axe hasn't been seen since 2008, and while Crazy Taxi was seen in 2017, that was an iOS and Android clicker game. Streets of Rage 4 is the most recent entry in the beat 'em up franchise, and was well-received critically.

Honestly, as a big Crazy Taxi fan from the PS2, I'm very, very excited to hear more.

More to come...
