At the start of the North American Regional Championships RLCS broadcast, Psyonix announced the set of offseason tournaments that are taking place throughout the offseason to make up for the lack of World Championship - the Rocket League Spring Series.

With one tournament for each of the four RLCS regions and a total prize pot of $300,000, it’s set to be an exciting offseason despite the lack of major LANs. Psyonix also gave a brief overview of the formats in use for the events, which will utilise two days of open qualifiers where four teams will join each region’s top four Regional Championship sides on the weekend finals.

The dates and prize pool for each tournament are as follows:

These events also mark the first time that a South America or Oceanic tournament has been broadcast on the official Rocket League Twitch channel, with both regions gaining increased exposure. However, there still appears to be nothing in store for the Asian region despite Sandrock Gaming’s strong performance in the European Invitational.
