Pro Calls Modern Warfare 2 The Best Call Of Duty Ever

There's an awful lot of pressure on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. And some people aren't sure it's going to be able to carry it all. Apparently though, some pros have been taking the shooter for a spin and are already calling it the best Call of Duty ever.

Naturally, the Modern Warfare name is going to be doing a lot of heavy lifting in terms of sales numbers, but Infinity Ward still needs to come through with a Call of Duty game that makes up for the disappointments of Vanguard. Some are rightly nervous that the days of Call of Duty's dominance of pop culture are long gone.

What Do The Pros Think Of Modern Warfare 2?

Before any of us have had the chance to process that the full reveal of Modern Warfare 2 is right around the corner, Call of Duty League professional players have come forward to say that they've played the game. And they've revealed that it's damn good.

The CDL pro player Methodz has led the charge in revealing that the game has been tested by players, saying, "Excited to say that some other pros and I were able to get our hands on #MWII! Grateful for the opportunity to play early, while also being able to share feedback and discuss how we can continue making strides in the competitive world. Looking forward to playing again soon."

It's interesting, and in terms of details, it looks like Methodz is playing his cards close to his chest. It's likely by request of Infinity Ward to keep things a secret, but thankfully, another pro isn't so subtle.

Call Modern Warfare 2 Really Be The Best CoD Yet?

Another pro player has come forward to comment on Modern Warfare 2, and he's much more straightforward in his comments than Methodz was. Minnesota RØKKR's Dillon "Attach" Price has made his announcement on Twitter, succinctly saying: "Got the chance to play #MWII early and I think it will be the Best Call of Duty of all time." 

Interestingly, this seems to be a running joke on Attach's Twitter, with him claiming the same thing about Vanguard - so there's every chance that he's trolling us. Whatever is going on, it's exciting that pros are getting their hands Modern Warfare 2, as it means it's in a stable enough build to be tested by third parties. A new era of CoD is getting closer, and we're getting more excited with every step.
