LMGs are an under-appreciated category of weapon in Warzone, at least when compared to submachine guns and assault rifles.

Their bulky frames often mean they lack mobility and slow reload speeds can make skirmishes feel sluggish, but they also have some tremendous strengths.

Unmatched dominance at long-range, low recoil, and hefty mag sizes all come to mind, making them an absolute force with the correct build.

Well, for Warzone expert WhosImmortal, there's one specific powerhouse LMG you need to add to your loadout list that's been "underrated all year."

HCR-56 is the "easiest weapon to use" in Warzone at long-range

Looking for a new long-range threat to add to your arsenal? It's time to pick up the underrated HCR-56 in Warzone and equip the setup above.

With "super low recoil" and a "competitive TTK," this LMG has everything you need to solo-carry your matches and rack up countless kills.

While it does lack mobility, pairing it with a highly aggressive SMG like the Lachmann Sub or Vaznev-9k should solve this issue.

Overall, it's a gun that prioritises accuracy above all else and that means it's top-tier when it comes to consistency on Al Mazrah and Vondel.

The HCR-56 is always going to be a niche option as is the case with all LMGs in Warzone. Some players just can't stand the slower mobility, and would rather carry around an AR for their skirmishes.

That explains why the underused LMG has a 1.1% pick rate according to WZStats, which is criminally low considering what the gun brings to the table.

So, if you're a competitor who is missing a few too many shots at long-range and wants to start beaming foes, the HCR-56 is the ultimate solution.
