We all know how long those Call of Duty Zombies nights can take.
Back in the day, Zombies matches could go on all night until one player keels over into their pile of flaming hot Doritos and leftover Pizza.
The hordes felt endless. And have you ever wondered if you could actually kill every single Zombie that has ever been reanimated? Well, it looks like you can.
Call of Duty player beats Nacht Der Untoten in massive 154-hour stint
Unlike this new hour-long DMZ-style Zombies experience, the old-school Zombies experience allowed players to play for as long as they can survive for, even if that takes continuous sessions (given your console doesn't turn off).
But one player has now found out the Nacht Der Untoten can actually be physically beaten if you put in enough hours.
In a whopping 154-hour stint on Nacht Der Untoten, Zombies player "Cruppz" managed to stay alive until round 8817, beating his previous record of 8276, where the map then decided enough is enough and reset itself back to Round 1.
This apparently isn't the first time that a player has beaten Nacht Der Untoten, in fact, it's Cruppz's third time himself, but fans are claiming it's the first time in 2023 and he now claims to have the world record for the highest round count ever, despite other players having racked up some slightly higher play times.
Call of Duty legend beats all World at War Zombies maps
Cruppz's completion of Nacht Der Untoten now rounds off his set of all four World at War Zombies maps which has been finished this year.
The player also posted evidence of him reaching Round 3365 on Verruckt (45 hours), 11482 on Shi No Numa (104 hours), and another seemingly despicable score on Der Reise (37 hours), although the latter is slightly cut off. Combined, that's 340 hours (over 14 days) straight.
So there you have it. If you have a spare two weeks, enough Lucozade and crisps to last, and don't need sleep, Zombies can be completed, and this might be the challenge for you.
