In Call of Duty multiplayer, certain modes are added with every instalment and are never left out by the developers. These include Search and Destroy, Team Deathmatch, Free-For-All, and Domination. However, other modes seem to disappear for a few years, only to pop up out of nowhere.

MW3 players have already made it clear that Demolition would be welcomed back with open arms, and now, another missing mode is being requested. Falling into the party category and labelled the "best game mode" ever, OG fans are desperate for it to return.

MW3 players want Prop Hunt party mode to return

Most Call of Duty modes are highly competitive and sweaty environments where everyone is focused on racking up as many kills as possible.

Sometimes, it's fun to take a break from all that and relax with a party game that's built purely for entertainment. Well, that's exactly what Prop Hunt provided in CoD, tasking a team of hunters to locate and find enemies disguised as props around a map.

With players labelling it as the "best game mode ever," there's a huge demand on the ModernWarfareIII subreddit for Prop Hunt to come back in MW3.

"The pure silliness of chasing random objects around the map that can throw flashbangs at you made it incredibly fun," said one user, with another claiming, "Yes bring it back! Loved playing that game."

When was Prop Hunt last in Call of Duty?

The last Call of Duty game to include Prop Hunt was Black Ops Cold War all the way back in 2020. The mode was added during Season One and was massively popular with the community.

Typically, Prop Hunt seems to appear in Treyarch games, so if it is coming back, it's more likely to make a return in 2024.

We don't know because Sledgehammer may surprise us all with the party mode in a future update. We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.
