Ah, the Nintendo Direct. Who knew that the format would come to drastically change the way the gaming industry works?

The model of the Direct has been replicated over and over by games companies who want to replicate the incredible hype that Nintendo conjures with its presentation, with PlayStation, Xbox and Ubisoft all getting involved in their own ways.

The company have always been creative trailblazers, but the Direct has set up an all-new way for games companies to announce their new projects - and to turn their fans into hype generators of the most powerful design. But of course, with this power, they also have to deal with fans begging for the next Direct as soon as one comes to a close.

And thankfully, we know what's next - and it's much closer than we could have hoped for.

Nintendo Direct Announced For Tomorrow

Nintendo has revealed that a brand-new Direct conference is taking place tomorrow.

It's come out of the blue, as the video presentation is already on YouTube, waiting for its debut tomorrow.

The conference will take place at 15:00 UK time, and it will be "mostly focused on Nintendo Switch games launching this winter".

The direct will be 40 minutes long, which implies that Nintendo have a lot to show off.

It has also been revealed that the Direct won't be live-streamed in the UK, as a mark of respect for the passing of Queen Elizabeth II - instead, the entire Direct will be made public at 15:00. You can still live stream the Direct via the Nintendo US YouTube Channel, though.

The speculation will of course be rife with this conference, but at the very least, it's incredibly soon, so we won't have to wait that long to find out what the showcase has to offer.

What Can We Expect From The Nintendo Direct?

There's truly no telling what could be making an appearance in the new Nintendo Direct, but fans have some ideas of their own.

Fans have been expecting a remake or remaster of a few games for a while now, with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Metroid Prime taking a seat at the very top of the list. Some are hoping that this Direct will be the one that reveals the games, but others are more sceptical.

Plus, with the length of the Direct, players are hoping for some information on the upcoming sequel to Breath of the Wild, as we still don't know the game's title. Perhaps tomorrow could be the day.

Of course, we simply won't know until it happens, but thankfully, it's only tomorrow. We're already fizzing with excitement.
