The week before GTA 6 was always going to be a bit of a calm before the storm, but there's still plenty landing between November 9 and 15, with Shrek 2 Remastered, Football Manager 27 and Sonic Pico Park leading a list that also includes a Barbie retro collection and a Warhammer spin on Vampire Survivors.
Here's what's coming out and when, based on the official store listings and the weekly release round-ups from Push Square and Pure Xbox, with the Game Pass titles flagged so you know which ones won't cost you anything extra if you're already subscribed.

Shrek is back, and he's brought the whole swamp
The biggest nostalgia hit of the week is Aspyr's remaster of the 2004 Shrek 2 movie tie-in, which arrives on Tuesday with rebuilt textures, 4K support and updated cutscenes, plus a new Photo Mode and a Cheat Mode for anyone who'd rather breeze through the tricky bits. You can still swap between heroes at any time to use their different abilities, and it supports up to four players across couch co-op, online play or a mix of the two, so it's an easy pick for the family sofa, and on Steam it's £24.09, or £21.68 if you pre-purchase while the 10% discount is running.
Football Manager 27, Warhammer Survivors and the rest
Football Manager 27 kicks off properly on Tuesday across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and mobile, and it's part of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from day one. PC players who pre-purchased or play through Game Pass have actually been in the Launch Preview since late October with their saves carrying over to the full game, so plenty of you are probably three seasons deep already and still arguing with the board about a new stadium, and on Steam it's £49.99, or £44.99 with the current pre-purchase discount.
Warhammer Survivors comes from Auroch Digital, the studio behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, and throws more than 40 champions from Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar into a Vampire Survivors-style bullet-heaven, while Thronefall's build-by-day, defend-by-night strategy makes the jump from PC to consoles on Wednesday, and both are on Game Pass.
Thursday is the busiest day, with Digital Eclipse's Barbie Rewind bringing 16 classic Barbie games together inside a DreamHouse that you decorate through the decades, Sonic teaming up with the co-op puzzle series Pico Park in Sonic Pico Park, and Supermarket Simulator finally making its console debut on PS5, which means you can now stack shelves for fun on the telly as well.
It's a quieter week than we've had in a while, and that's no accident with GTA 6 due on November 19 and pre-loading opening this Tuesday, so if you're planning to disappear for a few weeks, our GTA 6 pre-load guide has the storage details you'll need to clear space before then.
Well, if anyone asks what you're playing this week, "Shrek" is a perfectly respectable answer.
