Fans are loving Elden Ring, naturally - but it's a little inaccessible for some.

FromSoftware certainly isn't known for making games that are particularly friendly to the casuals, featuring purposefully obtuse UI, difficult combat, ruthless bosses, and a gameplay style that relies on your ability to stay tuned in to the game at all times. It can be brutal, but that's a large part of why fans of the Souls-like genre love it so much.

But, if you want to adventure across The Lands Between without some of the stress thrust onto you by FromSoftware's design, there may be something that could help you work around it.

New App Helps You Track Elden Ring Quests

A brand new app developed by an Elden Ring fan has been released to help you keep track of all the locations, NPCs, and quests that you like in order to make your trek across The Lands Between just that little bit easier.

Shattered Ring is an app that serves almost as a notebook for you to keep track of your progress, allowing you to make notes on the quests you're currently on, who gave it to you, and where you need to go in order to complete them. You'd think you wouldn't need an app like this, but with Elden Ring's design deliberately relying on memory, it's a very handy little tool that could make your adventure that little bit easier.

The app is a work in progress and takes user suggestions from players on Twitter, but it still offers more than enough to make the game a little easier for now.

How Do You Download The Shattered Ring App?

The app is available to buy on the iOS app store for £2.49, but sadly, it simply isn't available on Android right now.

A tweet from the official Shattered Ring Twitter page suggested that it's in the works and could be coming soon, but for now, the app is exclusive to Apple devices.

The app is a great addition to player's kit, and as it's constantly being updated with new content, it's fast becoming a must-have travel companion for The Lands Between. So, if you've been struggling to keep up with the quests in Elden Ring, this one's for you.
