A slither of ingenuity has been deployed in Modern Warfare 3 as of late, as Sledgehammer Games is subtly bringing back the futuristic period which is often overlooked when content gets remastered.

After already bringing through some more acute attachments like the glassless optic, this time the ante has been upped and weapons from Sledgehammer's own Advanced Warfare are here.

Particularly, the MORS sniper has become an instant revelation, and while the developers are looking to get a pound of flesh on the market for some new variants, its first blueprint is an absolute disaster.

Already, the MORS has caused a few issues, as players found that the chamber is slightly off-centre, unlike every other sniper in the game, something which is more renowned in other games such as old Black Ops titles with the L96A1.

But in a Reddit thread titled "This is the worst ever blueprint I’ve seen in my life," fans have been ripping into the sniper rifle variant found in the battlepass, which has a weapon-breaking attachment.

"Maybe I’m not handling it well but that 'holding R2 to charge it and then releasing it at proper time' just never works for me. You can just simply shoot without charging but even on medium range it’s not 1 hit kill," said the Redditor, pointing out that the blueprint-exclusive Photonic Charge barrel only makes this gun terrible.

Fans were quick to point out that the barrel and the ammo of the gun can be changed, but that also nullifies the tracers and dismemberment rounds, making this gun nothing but a fancy camo.

"You can change barrel/ammo type but then you lose the death effect so what’s the point of this blueprint?" the Redditor continued.

Another added, "It looks badass but the charge feature is annoying AF."

The MORS sniper does seem to be one of the best guns added in quite a long time, but with this pointless attachment, players are beginning to remember the downside to the futuristic era with devs trying too hard to show off.
