If you've been playing Modern Warfare 3, you know how powerful each of the game's snipers can be in the hands of a sharpshooter.

Whether it's the Longbow, the KV Inhibitor, or even the hefty KATT-AMR, they're extremely potent from long-range and can insta-kill foes in the blink of an eye.

Unfortunately, a common tactic with these weapons seems to be to camp at the back of the map in a safe position, then simply take pop shots at any enemies that come into view. While effective, it's incredibly frustrating to play against.

So, one MW3 fan decided to take the matter into their own hands and demonstrated the best way to deal with camping snipers so they're discouraged from doing it ever again.

MW3 player shows the best method to kill camping snipers

Taking to the ModernWarfareIII subreddit, user milosterling showcased a clip of them eliminating sniper campers in the best way possible.

While playing on Derail, they realised certain players were sitting at the back of the map, getting easy kills against anyone that came into their sights.

Feeling this strategy needed to be punished, milosterling equipped a loadout with Covert Sneakers and began flanking behind the pesky snipers.

After reaching their position, he found an enemy who was scoped in with their rifle and was waiting for the next victim. To provide a swift but funny end to their streak of kills, milostering simply planted a claymore in front of the foe and made a daring escape.

The sniper was undoubtedly extremely confused when their optic was blocked by a mysterious object that would also end up being their downfall.

If you actually want to counter camping snipers in the most effective way possible, then Covert Sneakers are an absolute must. They allow you to pull off daring flanks without the risk of being heard, often giving you the chance to creep right up to the rifle users.

In terms of weaponry, a claymore may be funny, but it lacks consistency. We recommend you go for a meta SMG like the Rival-9 or a powerhouse Battle Rifle like the BAS-B. These will give you a blistering TTK, and after you've wiped them out a few times, a lot of sniper campers will give up and switch to their favourite AR loadout.
