Prior to the full release of Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty has begun detailing the beginning of the roadmap and what is to come.

With the full game set to release in early November, Season 1 and Warzone will arrive shortly after, leaving the mid-season update to come just before Christmas, where MW3 Ranked will come into play.

But now the roadmap is laying down more tarmac thanks to leakers, who have now detailed plans for up to Season 3, including a massive crossover with Advanced Warfare.

Renowned leaker HeyImAlaix has shared images of an ominous A logo as a reference as to what is coming in Modern Warfare 3 Season 3.

Fans have been quick to piece the puzzle together though, as the A is the start of the Atlas logo, the in-game team behind the mech suits and campaign in Advanced Warfare, also developed by Sledgehammer Games.

So far, more details surrounding the season have been released by leakers too, detailing some of the weaponry that will come. Season 3 is a few months away though, with MW2's likeminded calendar pinpointing early April for this specific update.

According to el_bobberto, the ASM1, BAL27, EM1, and MORS are all set to be coming as part of the crossover, representing the SMG, Assualt Rifle, LMG, and sniper categories respectfully.

Most AW fans will remember these guns, all of which were the most popular of their weapon class, although some more competitive players might have liked to have seen the HBR be pulled out of the archives for the Nadeshot-related memes.

It's yet to be seen what else could come with this crossover though. Given Sledgehammer's previous efforts with AW, maybe a jetpack LTM could be tested, or another Uplink variation, alongside some of the Operator exo suits.

Doubtful that Kevin Spacey will be making a cameo this time around though.
