Movement mechanics and techniques have become an essential part of a skilled CoD competitor’s arsenal over recent years.

So much so, that some MW3 players care more about their slides, dips and dives, rather than their actual weapon accuracy.

Well, it looks like Sledgehammer is aiming to cater to the movement demons and bunny hoppers, as a new parkour game mode has been leaked.

Found in the game files, GET HIGH will task players with ascending an obstacle course. Whoever reaches the top first, takes the crown.

Modern Warfare 3 is getting a futuristic parkour mode

As showcased and datamined by leaker BobNetworkUK, Modern Warfare 3 will be getting a unique parkour mode.

The experience is called G3T_H1GH and the aim of the mode is to reach the top of the obstacle course before any other player. Fit with rotating pillars, elevated platforms, and gaps that will require massive leaps, this is going to take a lot of skill to master.

Not only that, there are small targets scattered across G3T_H1GH that can be shot at for easy XP, so it’s likely still effective for levelling up weapons (even if it's not efficient).

Taking a look at the map itself, it’s effectively a futuristic playground with neon colours placed everywhere. The devs were clearly looking to replicate that arcade game style and they’ve definitely achieved that.

MW3 fans are ready to embrace “Call of Duty Fall Guys”

As expected, this leak has gone down a treat with the community who are already labelling G3T_H1GH the Call of Duty version of Fall Guys.

Others believe it’s going to be CoD’s very own “CSGO surf”, especially if players get into speed-running the map and searching for every possible method to shave time off their runs.

This is like CSGO surf and BO3 free running got high and had a kid,” said one user, with another claiming “Bringing me back to them BO3 parkour days, absolute peak.”

With the Kar98k and SPAS-12 leak alongside this, Sledgehammer is truly capturing the hearts of the CoD fanbase - let’s hope they can execute the landing when all this arrives.
