Certain types of kills in Call of Duty feel better than others, with quickscopes, collaterals, headshots, and no-scopes all ranking among the highest.

However, there's nothing quite like landing a wall-bang, as it often means you've killed an opponent without them being in your line of sight.

This usually revolves around shooting through a wall towards where you think a foe is hiding, or a ledge they're taking cover behind.

A wall bang will rarely travel across the whole map to takedown an opponent, but that's exactly what's happening on MW3's Vista map.

MW3's Vista map has a ridiculous wall-bang spot

Taking to the ModernWarfareIII subreddit, user Ok_Target_7084 posted a clip of them playing Search and Destroy on the Vista map.

At the beginning of the round, after just respawning, they began running up the steps with their team but were instantly killed out of the blue.

With no enemies in sight, it first appeared as if a competitor in the game was hacking. However, after taking a look at the kill cam, an opponent was using a game-breaking wall-bang spot with a sniper. For whatever reason, it's travelling across the whole map.

This breaks the typical rules for a wall bang which will usually only penetrate through certain terrain. It's completely unheard of and unrealistic for any bullet to maintain its speed through the ground, but it's clear the enemy had been doing some experimenting and figured it out.

MW3 fans divided over whether map "exploit" should be fixed

While some users in the thread jumped to hacking allegations, others were divided over whether the exploit should be fixed and the enemy deserves to be punished.

If there is no third-party software involved, some of the community believes the foe is simply using a clever trick that the devs should patch if they're not happy with it.

"If he was doing it mid-round I’d say defo walls, but people do go for this stuff in Search... People finding cheesy wall bang spots and timings isn’t that uncommon, it’s just like a nade spot," said one user, with another claiming, "Exploiting is in itself cheating though, but it ultimately depends on the exploit in my opinion, but wall bangs like this? Nah."

With this getting a lot of attention, make sure to be careful when climbing the stairs on Vista as it could be a death sentence.
