Although cosmetics have become a huge part of Call of Duty over recent years, not all of them are well-received by the community. Bundles like the Rat Pack, Izzy, and the Jaguar Warrior have all led to backlash from players for a variety of reasons.

One of the primary concerns for a lot of CoD fans is that realism has been completely scrapped and that Activision rarely releases any Mil-Sim Operator cosmetics. Well, that frustration was reignited once again after players found out that you can play as an actual cat in MW2 Season 4 Reloaded.

MW2 players slam cat Operator skins as a "joke"

With the release of the Season 4 Reloaded roadmap, Activision announced a set of new cosmetic bundles coming to the store, one of them being Whisker Tango. This effectively allows you to run around as a cat in WZ2 & MW2, which for some players was a step too far.

Responding to ModernWarzone's tweet about the skins, one user claimed "Call of Duty has become a joke" and another questioned, "What has happened to CoD man?"

Some players were genuinely in disbelief that you could transform into a humanoid cat, arguing, "No way this is real" and one user even went as far as to say the "development team is lost."

How much is the Whisker Tango cat bundle in MW2?

According to the Season 4 Reloaded blog, the Whisker Tango bundle will cost 2,400 CoD points in the store and will be available on July 12.

Whisker Tango features two Operator skins, two Weapon Blueprints, as well as a new Vehicle Skin, a fishbone Weapon Charm, a Vinyl, five Stickers, and an Emblem.

While there's a lot of anger towards this cosmetic at the moment, typically the very outlandish skins are incredibly popular. So, keep your eyes peeled in Season 4 Reloaded, as it'll be interesting to see how many cats are running around in MW2 and WZ2.
