Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to be released on September 19, 2023, and the game's huge community of fighting fans have already started counting down the days.

While the trailer has revealed that Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Raiden, Kitana, Mileena, and more will be part of the main roster, players are still curious about who the devs will release as part of DLC.

However, as the game is still a while away from release, guessing who will make an appearance has all been pure speculation. Well, that was until Mortal Kombat 1's DLC characters were seemingly revealed ahead of launch by an Amazon Italy product listing.

Mortal Kombat 1's DLC characters have been leaked by an Amazon Italy product listing, giving the community the full list of names before the game has even been released.

This has sparked a lot of excitement from the community as it's not very often information about DLCs is revealed so far in advance. Interestingly, we've already heard about Peacemaker and The Boys' Homelander.

Here are all the DLC characters that were mentioned in the listing:

  • Quan Chi
  • Omni Man
  • Ermac
  • Takeda
  • Peacemaker
  • Homelander

It's worth keeping in mind that while these characters were mentioned in the listing, it's possible NetherRealm Studios will change its plans ahead of the DLC. Remember, Evil Dead's Ash Williams was seemingly supposed to appear in Mortal Kombat 11 but missed out, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Does the Mortal Kombat 1 DLC have a release date?

Guest characters have been a regular of the scene since 2011's MK9, with the likes of Kratos, Joker, and Jason Voorhees all making their mark. As Mortal Kombat 1 hasn't even been released yet and is scheduled to arrive on September 19, 2023, NetherRealm Studios has not announced any DLC just yet.

As a result, no release date has been officially announced, so Mortal Kombat fans will likely have to wait until late this year for more details.

Either way, the Mortal Kombat DLC leak shows a solid amount of characters for an expansion and has showcased that NetherRealm Studios has a lot planned in terms of post-launch content.
