There are few things more infuriating than playing Hardpoint in Modern Warfare 2 and seeing five team members have a combined zero minutes and zero seconds of objective time - plundering their greed into kill-w***ring and lustful camo objectives.
So, how do we fix this? We can't ban them, they're just playing CoD. But, maybe some education can help, and this is exactly what Infinity Ward is doing with its upcoming MW2 bundles.
It appears that following the launch of MW2 Season 1, the developers' first set of in-store bundles will be centred around the Seven Deadly Sins to teaching players all about the effects of being too greedy.
MW2 Are Bringing Seven Deadly Sins Bundles To The Store
With Season 1 rolling out and the MW2 store being kitted out with new bundles, Infinity Ward has teased the first of seven bundles that will come out. Each revolves around the Christian cardinal sins: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride.
The first of the MW2 x Deadly Sins crossover is set to be the VII: Sloth bundle, which reportedly includes a weapon blueprint for the Season 1 Victus XMR sniper rifle (named "Folivora" after the animal classification of the sloth).
There will also be a Deep Sleep blueprint for an unnamed shotgun too, which is suspected to have an ammunition round that decreases enemy movement speed, making them drowsy.
Konig, an MW2 operator, will also get an exclusive skin from the VII: Sloth bundle, named "Desidia," which means laziness in Spanish.
More Deadly Sins Bundles Expected For MW2 Store
Following the first VII: Sloth bundle, the numeral will precede the other sins too, with VII: Greed expected to be rolled out into the store later in Season 1.
Each bundle is expected to have two weapons that reflect each message, alongside an Operator skin, and more customisation features. VII: Sloth might even boast a new Gun Screen.
The seven bundles will join the likes of the Warzone FC characters (Messi, Neymar, and Pogba) and the CDL Team Packs in-store for Season 1.
With the MW2 Season 1 battle pass going live on November 16, there appears to be a huge opportunity for players to get a much-needed appearance overhaul by adding flair to the CoD experience. All store bundles will also be available for Warzone 2 and DMZ too.
