While SMGs are the kings at close quarters and snipers are top-tier at insta-killing foes with headshots, it's the LMGs in Warzone that are capable of laser-beaming enemies from afar.

With options like the Pulemyot 762, Holger 26, and TAQ Evolvere, it's safe to say the community are spoilt for choice in that department.

However, having so many weapons at your disposal makes it hard to pick out a winner from the bunch, especially in Season 2.

Well, Warzone expert WhosImmortal has found a deadly LMG that's both "easy to use" and dishes out devastating damage at long range.

Low recoil DG-58 "fries" at long-range in Warzone

Attachments

  • Barrel: WUDI Long Barrel
  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Optic: CORIO Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Stock: Hardened Rubber Coc Buttplate
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip

The biggest strength of the DG-58 LSW is how "easy to use" the gun is at long range thanks to its ridiculously stable recoil pattern. This means with the CORIO Eagleseye 2.5x equipped, you can hover over a foe and trust that the gun is going to track their movements - securing you an easy elimination.

A lot of the time, competitors focus too much on maximising their damage without accounting for the kickback that those attachments bring to the table. Putting an emphasis on stability will result in more consistent performances and, therefore, more wins in the long term.

That's not to say that the DG-58 LSW doesn't hit hard because it certainly does, sporting a solid TTK that is more than capable of taking out any enemies in your path.

Overall, this is the perfect loadout for anyone who wants a "versatile" LMG setup that's always going to perform well.

Popularity-wise, the DG-58 LSW sits in the middle of the pack at 1.1%, according to WZStats. This may not be the highest, but the weapon is still very much appreciated by a portion of the community.

Its reliability means it can be thrown into Resurgence or BR and always contend with other meta weapons. If you're sleeping the DG-58 LSW, it may be time to add it to your loadout list.
