LA Thieves Duo Claim That 'OpTic Are The Most Overrated CDL Team'

Suppose you fancied any spicy storylines heading into the Call of Duty League world championship 2022. In that case, the mind games between the two colossal organisations that are OpTic Texas and Los Angeles Thieves have begun, in a bid to win the rings before the first bullet has been fired. 

While the chambers of the Automatons and MP40s are full to the brim, shots have been fired before the event's kick-off on Thursday, with current Major IV champions LA Thieves aiming their trash talk right at OpTic Texas.

After winning Major 4, LA Thieves' duo of Kenny "Kenny" Williams and Zack "Drazah" Jordan have finally found synergy in their roles, and now in their content too, as they both agreed that OpTic Texas are the most overrated team in the Call of Duty League.

Drazah Claims OpTic Texas Are Overrated

Hot off the back of their Major IV success, Los Angeles Thieves' content team pitched the squad into some hot takes in their latest YouTube upload. Despite all four members of the roster (and their content coordinator Ian "enable" Wyatt and Head Coach Jordan "Jkap" Kaplan) all having represented OpTic in their careers, the green wall became their shooting range.

Having been posed the question of "which CDL team is the most overrated?", Drazah's hesitation was cut short by spurting out "It's OpTic", with most of the team agreeing. 

Sam "Octane" Larew was the only member to not share the same opinion, possibly in a bid to prevent any bad karma should the sides meet at the World Championships, although little explanation was given as to why OpTic was Drazah's choice.

Kenny Doubles On Overrated OpTic Claims

The claims didn't stop with the LA Thieves video though, as Major IV MVP Kenny took to the Stay Attached podcast, hosted by Dillon "Attach" Price, to continue the discussion.

Attach revealed that fellow friend Thomas "ZooMaa" Paparatto wanted to ask Kenny, "are OpTic overrated?", and Kenny was quick to give his reasoning as to why the answer was "yes". 

"People were calling them the best team in the game, even Inder [iLLeY] said it at the event. Listen, that’s all I gotta say. They were not the best team at the event. So I would say they think they’re the best team in the game, and people see them as the best team in the game. After the Major, I consider us the best team in the game… Take that how you want to take that," said Kenny.
