There's an abundance of ways to play Call of Duty nowadays, with meta choices in both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone that suit everyone.
Whether you're an SMG demon, a sharpshooting Assault Rifle flanker, or sit back and relax marksman who's more than handy with a sniper.
The latter category of player gets quite some flak though, having been segregated as "Sentinels" in recent years. But Podcast guru Joe Rogan has come to the aid of these so-called "campers", telling haters to "shut the f**k up."
Joe Rogan defends snipers and campers in Call of Duty
Even though Warzone has now introduced a new killstreak designed specifically for killing campers from inside buildings, the tactic of picking enemies off from afar with snipers remains viable.
And Joe Rogan supports them, as the old gamer head has defended any who enjoys a bit of overwatch support.
"You gonna get mad at snipers in a war? Shut the fuck up, that’s a part of the war," he said in the latest episode of the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast alongside guest Dan Soder.
If camping is good enough for laser tag, it's good enough for CoD
Soder, an American comedian and actor, also backed this hypothesis, saying that he used to camp in laser tag, so why not in Call of Duty too?
"I remember back in the laser tag days, I camped," he said.
"I camped near the recharge station and every time someone came to charge up I'd pop them."
Both guests also ridiculed anyone using cheats, languishing the "pathetic" hackers while feeling sympathy for anyone who counters them.
So, camping is good enough for Joe Rogan, and good enough for Dan Soder at laser tag, so why not in Call of Duty? If you're good enough, you'll avoid campers anyway...
