Long-range combat is a significant part of Warzone 2, so having a weapon that can laser beam foes from a distance is essential if you want to pick up wins. However, in Season 3, there are so many options available to choose from, which means it can feel like an overwhelming task designing a top-tier WZ2 loadout.

Luckily, there are Warzone 2 experts out there who can help, and one of them is James "JGOD" Godoy. The Warzone 2 guru has analysed all the best long-range guns and revealed which one is the strongest of the bunch.

While he outlines multiple options, there's one powerful AR that stands out from the crowd thanks to its raw firepower.

JGOD unveils AR with devastating TTK in Warzone 2

For JGOD, the Kastov 762 AR is one of the best long-range guns in Warzone 2's current meta because of its lethal TTK - which wipes out enemies in milliseconds. The loadout below is a top-tier build for the weapon that maximises its damage output while also bolstering its recoil pattern.

  • Underbarrel: Demo Firm Grip
  • Optic: AIM OP V4
  • Magazine: 40-Round Mag

While the Kastov 762 is an incredible choice for taking down foes from afar, JGOD notes that this gun will be better suited to '"higher skill players" due to the AR's unforgiving kickback.

Unlike the ISO Hemlock and Sakin MG38, the Kastov 762 will take a lot of practice to master, and at the start, you may find yourself missing a few shots.

However, if you're willing to put in the hours and master the gun, you'll be rewarded with a powerhouse AR that's equipped with an unmatched TTK.

When it comes to finding the perfect weapon to go alongside the Kastov 762, you must run the Overkill perk to gain access to a second primary.

As the AR loadout above focuses on transforming the Kastov into a long-range powerhouse, we'd recommend choosing a meta SMG. Both the Vaznev-9k and Lachmann Sub are top-tier options that'll make short work of any foes that attempt to take you down at close quarters.
