Reckon you could get bored of a game with baboon astronauts, explosions, giant moles, and a talking book? Well, Josef Fares doesn't think you can!

It Takes Two, the next game from developer Hazelight Studios arrives on March 26, and will be available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Origin and Steam).

The game centres around a couple (Cody and May) turned into dolls by a spell, and trapped in a fantasy world, with the challenge of saving their relationship, and coached along every step of the way by Dr Hakim (a suave... book).

There's no solo option here; it really does take two, as this co-op adventure lets you choose from couch co-op or online, offering up split-screen too! Work together to defeat zany enemies, complete challenges, and set the narrative rolling. Overcome your differences as Cody and May, and meet some strange and peculiar creatures along the way.

Sounds fun? Well, Studio Director Josef Fares is so positive that players won't get bored with their new title, that he'll give you $1000 if you do.

Fares told GameInformer, "I can guarantee you with It Takes Two: It’s impossible, and quote me on this, to get tired of this game," Fares stated. "I can literally give 1,000 bucks to anyone who says, ‘Oh, I’m tired of this game now because it doesn’t surprise me.’ One thousand bucks! I guarantee. I’ll give it to everyone who gets tired. But they have to be honest about it."

Check out the trailer for It Takes Two below, and lock up your chequebook.

Fares' pledge should only serve to bolster the gaming community's confidence in the new Hazelight title, and if not, prepare for a payday from the director himself.
