Two years after being released and the artistic masterclass award-winning Ghost of Tsushima is finally expanding away from PlayStation, to which it is exclusive to.

Sucker Punch Studios and Sony's relationship with Ghost of Tsushima has been a revelation, as the wonderful Japanese Samurai game has first conquered the console gaming world before setting its sights on Hollywood.

With a film adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima in the works, it now appears that Sucker Punch are far from finished with its gaming variant, and still has its eyes firmly fixed on expanding its audience.

Ghost of Tsushima PC Set To Land

A range of PlayStation exclusives are making their way to PC in recent weeks, as the console wars have seemingly taken a strange twist. Both Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone have revoked their console exclusivity by adapting to life on PC, and now the same signals that leaked their arrival on computers have now appeared for Ghost of Tsushima.

The aforementioned titles saw the "PlayStation only" symbol removed from boxart on Amazon before expanding to PC, and now Ghost of Tsushima has followed suit. Additionally, Sony has also removed any banners of "Only on PlayStation" from their own boxart of the game, a strapline that previously featured on its front cover.

The indicators that pointed Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone towards an inevitable PC arrival are repeating themselves with Ghost of Tsushima, which admittedly, could do with a renewed lease of life.

Ghosts Of Tsushima PC Release Date

As we prepare for Ghost of Tsushima to land on the Steam store - probably, much akin to Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone - Sony has yet to reveal the move, meaning any release date is held firmly under lock and key.

However, it took just two years and one month for Days Gone to be ported to PC, and as Sony are speeding up the process of revoking exclusivity on their games, it's likely Ghost of Tsushima won't be too far behind.

For now, your sword may be sheathed to the PlayStation hilt. But expect Ghost of Tsushima to slice through the PC market soon, adding a bit of cherry blossom bliss to your everyday life.
