Another day, another Bloodborne rumour. We'd be incredibly silly not to see them coming almost weekly at this point, as the Victorian Soulsborne title made waves on launch in small pockets of fans. Ever since release, Bloodborne has reached a cult status.
It has become infamous for being at the forefront of the "Which game do you want remastered next?" conversation every time. But now, as FromSoftware starts accruing more staff, there's revived hopes that a sequel could come to life.
FromSoftware is hiring once again
It looks like new members will be joining the FromSoftware team, but though many would presume that they'd be joining to look over Elden Ring and its hopes of a sequel, it looks like there could be more on the table.
As initially reported by IGN Japan, FromSoftware is officially recruiting, supposedly looking for large-scale development staff for its "multiple new projects."
This could be pointing to any number of things - more Elden Ring, more Armoured Core, perhaps even a brand-new IP. Of course, one group of fans has decided that it's all about them. No prizes for guessing which fans they are.
Bloodborne fans are getting excited about FromSoftware hires
Shocker Players have come out in their droves to presume that these new hires could be pointing to renewed hope of a potential sequel to Bloodborne.
Taking to Reddit to express their excitement, players are all over it. "That's all I need to hear," says one user in the GamingLeaksandRumours subreddit. "Bloodborne Remastered and Dark Souls Remastered for the Gamecube." "BLOODBORNE FOR PC BOIIIS" adds another particularly fervent comment.
We're not surprised, but as expectations have been dampened time and time again when it comes to a return to Yarnham, it's probably best to look out for ourselves first and foremost. Please don't get too excited - we hate to see you disappointed.
