If you were someone who played Fortnite from its inception, then it's very likely you hold a nostalgic place in your heart for the OG map. After all, it's a battle cry delivered by hundreds - the new seasons apparently 'have nothing on the old map'.

Whether you miss Tilted Towers, or just wish you could go back to the days of more simplistic gameplay, it can be hard to let go of the past - which is why one Fortnite player has made the pain a little bit easier by recreating an OG classic in Creative Mode.

In Chapter One, Athena was a much-loved element to the game, and while it can no longer be accessed officially, @TheBoyDilly has done a pretty solid job recreating it to an almost identical version of the original.

Where is the fan-made Athena map?

Many players who have since jumped into the fan-made map have claimed that it 'brought them home' and gave them a sense of nostalgia that they never knew they needed.

To get onto the map, all you need to do is head on to the link in the tweet above, or simply find Athena Royale on Creative Mode.

When is Fortnitemares?

Fortnite Season 8 is officially underway, and the Cube Queen has landed on the battle royale map, ready to cause havoc. With the introduction of The Convergence and giant shadow monsters, it's sure to be a spooky and exciting end to the season.

Fortnitemares has also returned with an exciting new mode, Horde Rush, which is a similar LTM to the concept of Save The World. You and three others fight multiple rounds of shadow monsters until you face the giant (and very angry) boss mode towards the end.

The LTM is here until November 1, so get playing as much as you can before it disappears!
