As Arnie always warned us, "I'll be back." Like an unstoppable army of Cyberdyne robots, the Terminator IP keeps on coming. While we doubt we'll ever return to the highs of James Cameron's 1984 original or the lauded Judgement Day, that doesn't stop Tinsel Town from marching out movies like clockwork.
It's much the same with Terminator video games, but much like the more recent movies, many think 2019's Terminator: Resistance should've taken a dip in molten steel. You might've forgotten that a new Terminator game is on the way, and to be honest, we can't blame you.
Nacon's open-world Terminator game is coming
The upcoming Nacon Connect showcase is going to give fans a peek at the open-world Terminator survival game. Although it was announced back in 2022, Nacon Studio Milan hasn't given much away, meaning the game doesn't even have an official title.
Nacon's February 29 event promises 30 minutes of reveals, including videos on the lakes of Ravenswatch, The Dying World, and GreedFall 2. It's not exactly E3, but with the potential of an open-world Terminator game, it's likely to be a highlight of Nacon Connect.
The jury is out on whether we can finally get the shambling Terminator IP back on top, and giving us some hope, Nacon recently did this with Teyon's RoboCop: Rogue City. On the other side of the coin, Nacon also published the abysmal Golum game - which was dubbed as 2023's worst by many.
Give us Terminator: Isolation

Set between the events of Judgement Day (the apocalyptic event when Skynet nuked the world) and John Connor forming his resistance, all we know is you play as a group of survivors... trying to survive. This gives the developer plenty of scope to deliver something new.
The reveal video had a T-800 stalking someone around a warehouse as the iconic Terminator theme accompanied the teaser. This has given rise (of the machines) to the idea we'll get an Alien: Isolation-inspired game where you'll use stealth to try and evade these murderous bots.
Creative Assembly's 2014 game is held as one of the most terrifying horror games of all time, and as our hopes of a sequel fade, could Nacon Studio Milan try and replicate the idea with chilling cyborgs? We'll wait to see what Nacon shows us on February 29, but in the meantime, come with us if you want to live.
