When it comes to assault rifles in Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded, two options stand well above in terms of popularity.

These are the M13B at 22.5% and the Kastov 762 at 15.6%. Both are considered brilliant options for anyone looking to carry their matches, but there are other viable weapons that can compete with these giants.

Call of Duty YouTuber Metaphor believes they've found the ultimate AR contender in the form of a Battle Rifle that's been forgotten by the community.

They've even gone as far as to label it the "best AR in Warzone 2," thanks to the BR's strong TTK and stability.

Top-tier Lachmann 762 loadout is "best AR in Warzone 2"

  • Barrel: Romeo FT 16" Barrel
  • Muzzle: SAKIN Tread-40
  • Optic: SZ Recharge-DX
  • Stock: LM-S Factory G79 Stock
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum

After testing out the Lachmann-762, Metaphor is convinced it may be the "best full auto type weapon in the game right now."

The top-tier Battle Rifle has a powerful time-to-kill and while its recoil pattern will take some practice to master, it is well worth the investment.

Despite not being an AR, the Warzone expert is convinced it's better than the meta options in Season 5 Reloaded.

With the setup above, you'll have a loadout that dominates at mid to long-range and can dish out a serious amount of damage. Pair it with a strong SMG, and you'll have a truly lethal setup.

How popular is the Lachmann 762 in Warzone 2?

The Lachmann-762 currently has a 0.5% pick rate in Warzone 2, showcasing how little players are actually using the weapon.

With so much potential, this gun is criminally underrated and could be the weapon to take your gameplay to the next level.

So, if you're tired of sticking with the meta and want a hidden gem to catch your foes off-guard, don't hesitate to pick up the Lachmann-762.
