Out of the many Warzone loadouts that have come and gone as the 'meta' choice, there's something pretty satisfying about using one that has never been crowned as a popular pick. Selecting bottom-of-the-barrel guns often makes for a hilarious challenge and great content with friends, but to be actually good with them is another story. Well, unless your name is Kris "Swagg" Lamberson.

The FaZe Clan superstar and Nuke Squad captain, Swagg, has mastered many unique weapons in his storied Call of Duty content career, but never has a Crossbow been quite as impactful as in Warzone.

With sniping out of the window in the current Warzone mix, players have opted to whip out the Crossbow, and even though it is still a pretty rubbish gun overall, in the right hands it can be masterful. It's not something I'd want to risk getting my 2000th Warzone win for though...

Swagg Uses Crossbow to Get 2000th Warzone Win

After grinding the battle royale since its release, Swagg notched up 1999 wins, and while playing Quads, he whipped out a Crossbow class to try and get number 2000.

With the Crossbow now being a one-shot-kill anywhere on the map, thanks to the explosive tip rounds, Swagg managed to rack up over 20 kills with his loadout, in a Caldera match, including one kill whilst parachuting from 66 metres away.

Alongside Nuke Squad member Ean "Booya" Chase, who was also using the Crossbow, the team dropped one shy of 80 kills in the game, with Swagg ending on 24.

Swagg's Warzone Crossbow Loadout

The Modern Warfare 2019 Crossbow was recently buffed to be a one-shot-kill with the FTAC Fury 20" Bolts attached, which blow up upon impact. The gun will break armour when connecting with an opponent and blow up a second later to down your enemy, if you can stay alive for the amount of time.

The best Warzone Crossbow loadout is:

  • Cable - 28-Strand Cable
  • Arms - XRK Thunder 200 Lb
  • Laser - Tac Laser
  • Bolt - FTAC Fury 20" Bolts
  • Perk - Sleight of Hand

It's not a bad way to get your 2000th win, maybe for 3000 Swagg will go Kali Sticks only...
