Many people involved in the Wizarding World tend to stay within the walls of Hogwarts for as long as possible, whether it be by featuring in all eight of films or minor appearances to delve into their roles in Harry Potter.

Some of the lesser-known figures in the community - your non-Radcliffe-Grint-and-Watsons - have often reprised different roles in the string of movies and plays, too. Now, it seems some are popping back up in the gaming industry to extend their legacy in Hogwarts.

Disclaimer: While the creator of the Harry Potter franchise was not directly involved in the creation of Hogwarts Legacy, their comments on social media around transgender people are hurtful and dangerous given the size of their platform.

We’d implore you to read our explainer of the controversy so far, and consider supporting trans rights charities where possible.

Throughout Hogwarts Legacy, you'll meet a string of classmates who help you on your journey. Whether it be Sebastian Sallow and his Dark Arts fascination, the fan-favourite beast-tamer Poppy Sweeting, or even the typically fiery-haired Garreth Weasley, you're always lending a hand.

One classmate, in particular, is voiced by a familiar friend, as high-flying Ravenclaw student Everett Clopton is actually played by Luke Youngblood (yes, that's his actual name and not some form of term for pureblood minors). You might remember Youngblood as Lee Jordan in the Harry Potter films.

Everett is one of the classmates you meet early on at Flying Class, then shows you the heights of Hogwarts in a quick excursion similar to Harry and Draco Malfoy in their first encounter on a broom.

You'll remember Lee Jordan as the announcer for Quidditch in the Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets, often at the side of Professor McGonagall.

Harry Potter actor plays multiple characters in Hogwarts Legacy

Luke Youngblood plays more than just Everett Clopton, though. While the Ravenclaw prankster is his main role, Youngblood also voices Arthur Plummly, Elek, and Ernie Lark in Howarts Legacy.

As minor characters, Plummly is a Hufflepuff student, Elek is a centaur you come across during Poppy Sweeting's storyline, and Ernie is a bard that crops up in a range of villages, including Hogsmeade. Chances are, you'd have tipped him a knut to add more instruments to his ensemble.

You'll never hear "He's caught the snitch! Harry Potter has caught the Golden Snitch," the same ever again.
