Alright, alright, alright, the world of video games has nabbed another A-list celebrity. Following in the footsteps of Death Stranding nabbing the likes of Norman Reedus and Léa Seydoux, Matthew McConaughey is starring in a brand-new video game called Exodus.

Matthew McConaughey stars in Exodus

From Archetype Entertainment, Exodus gives us some real Mass Effect aesthetics, but you can't help but notice the Interstellar vibes. McConaughey himself was on hand at The Game Awards to unveil the game, and even gave a wink to Christopher Nolan's sci-fi epic.

You play as "the Traveler," who has to explore an advanced system full of alien tech. As McConaughey says, time works differently here. What could be a day for us will be decades there. We watch their choices play out like a butterfly effect.

Exodus is Archetype's first game, coming from former BioWare, 343 Industries, and Naughty Dog developers. We're told to "Become the Traveler" at Exodusgame.com.
