There was one statement that seemed to circle the gaming industry when Everywhere was revealed - "That looks cool! What is it, though?"

The game seems to want to be something much bigger than any other game at launch, serving as a jumping-off point for more media to come after it. We imagine it as a platform akin to Roblox or even Fortnite, which can facilitate any kind of gaming.

The team is led by ex-GTA staff and seem to have lofty goals. We've been waiting patiently to see what's actually in store, and now, we might have a chance to take a peek.

Everywhere is getting a closed alpha soon

Build A Rocket Boy has officially revealed that an Everywhere Closed Alpha is on the way, and better yet, it's coming far sooner than we had expected.

The news has been revealed on the Everywhere website and on Twitter, allowing players to get involved with the Closed Alpha, titled "Systems Check." The Closed Alpha is expected to launch on December 5, and it will stretch until December 18 to make sure that Everywhere runs smoothly.

It's a good time for the Closed Alpha to launch, especially as the game's goals are so ambitious that we've struggled until this point to make sure of what Everywhere actually is. Finally, it looks like we might have our answers.

How can I apply for Everywhere's closed alpha test?

If you want in on Systems Check, then thankfully, Build A Rocket Boy has made things fairly easy. All you need to do is head to the game's site and create a free account. Once that's in, your application will be sent, and you'll need to keep an eye on your inbox to see if you're one of the lucky few to see the future before it officially launches.

The prospect of Everywhere is exciting, and if it can deliver on its many promises, we could be in for a fascinating shift in the gaming space. If anything, we hope the game can distance itself from living in the shadow of GTA. Still, it's a strong foundation to start from, and who knows, maybe you could be a part of its first steps into this world.
