The multiplayer horror game is having a great time at the moment, living vicariously through a couple of titles and giving fans of spooks exactly what they've been waiting for.

Dead by Daylight is still going strong with its pop-culture crossovers offering players plenty of reason to come back and Secret Neighbor brought the YouTube phenomenon to the world of multiplayer. Both of which launched off the back of the success seen by Friday the 13th: The Game.

Now, with a decidedly more groovy step into multiplayer horror action, Evil Dead: The Game has all the makings of a classic - and it's coming with some tidy cosmetics too.

Evil Dead: The Game's Pre-Order Bonuses Are Perfect For Superfans

Evil Dead: The Game recently had its release date pushed back, but not to worry, because the Saber Interactive title has a good way of making up for it.

As revealed in a brand new trailer for the game, some tasty pre-order bonuses are available for the game if you want to lock down a copy early, and it's a great way to start the game for the series' superfans. Especially those who can enjoy the barminess of Army of Darkness.

If you pre-order the game, you'll get two costumes for Bruce Campbell's Ash in-game, both from the third film in the franchise - his S-Mart employee outfit, and his Gallant Knight outfit. Both can be seen in the trailer, and they seem to be very faithful to the original films, following suit with the rest of the action of Evil Dead: The Game.

Though the game may now be some time away, it certainly hasn't done much to quell our excitement for it. The romp across Sam Raimi's horror-comedy classic is now set to land on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store on May 13, 2022.

We're still going to have to wait for the game's launch, but at least these costumes are here to sweeten the pot a little bit. The film series' goofiness blended with savage gore lend themselves to video games perfectly, and who knows - this could be the next massive horror multiplayer banger.
